Trade Talk Update: CBS Sports is reporting that the Clippers and Blazers are discussing a deal that would potential send Jamal Crawford to Los Angeles in exchange for Eric Bledsoe and Ryan Gomes.
Jamal Crawford could fill the scoring void for the Clippers following Chauncey Billups’ season injury in February.
There are also rumors floating that Crawford could go to Charlotte.
Public Speaking:
It just hit me after my presentation. The only class I had a problem speaking in front of a crowd is my public speaking class. How ironic……..
Day 2 No Sweets or Ice Cream:
Maybe I’m speaking to soon but it’s not that bad so far. I’m such a sweets & ice cream junkie. I’ve denied many times even though I had them ever single day. Now to go 40 days without them? Woah!! They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. Who knows, maybe when these 40 days are up, I won’t be hooked on candy as much. Ice cream is a different story. I’ve been replacing it with frozen fruit smoothies and extra ice. Usually when give something up for Lent, I pick up something else. For on Lent season, I went from giving up twizzlers and cookies to picking up skittles and chips. Hopefully this time around it’s a healthier decision. So far so good with the fruit smoothies.
Prospective Job Market:
A little under 3 months until graduation. Everything seems like its going so fast yet so slow. I can’t help but think what am I going to do with myself after. I have a plan but executing it seems to be the difficult part. Grad school & a job is definitely in the picture. I want to get some type of degree in Public Relation. According to one of my professors last semester, I’m not good enough to get into a PR program, plus she told me she would not be writing a reference letter for me. I wonder how the administration office at my college would feel if they found out that one of their faculty members is more discouraging than encouraging. Thank goodness I never took any of her snide comments last semester to heart because they were harsh enough to make someone want to drop out of school. Her words are driving me more towards making these ideas turn into reality. Anyone who knows me knows that someone being so bent over on me not making it is more fuel being given to me to make it. The professor I’ve gotten along with the least over the past few years has been the most encouraging (how ironic).

MARY KATRANZOU x TOPSHOP
The long-awaited Mary Katrantzou for Topshop collection will finally hit the stores February 17 during London Fashion Week. The nine-piece collection focuses on Mary Katrantzou’s vibrant fantastical prints and sculptural silhouettes with the porcelain bowl-inspired pheasant dress as one of the stand-out pieces (yummy)! Who’s shopping?
JASON WU FALL/WINTER 2012.13
Y-E-S! Jason Wu put on quite a smokey spectacle today at the runway showcase of his latest Chinese military infused collection. The fabrications Wu used were luxurious and included silks, velvet’s and leathers. Wu stuck with classic, lady-like silhouettes in his mainly black, red, and gold collection and modernized them through intricate details (such as that amazing embroidery). A+! Definitely a favorite so far this NYFW!
